Dear Amendoeira Clube de Golfe Members,

We extend our sincere gratitude for your continued support and dedication to our club. With the arrival of the beautiful Algarve weather, we’re thrilled to share some exciting updates and upcoming events.

Enhanced Golf Experience with New Buggy Fleet:

We’re delighted to announce the arrival of a brand-new fleet of golf buggies, featuring a state-of-the-art GPS system. Starting April 14th, you’ll enjoy enhanced features such as speed control, slow play monitoring, and precise distances to the pin directly from your buggy.

Driving Range Upgrades:

Beginning April 1st, we’re launching the new synthetic tee on the driving range. Despite the recent challenging weather, we’re finally able to proceed with these much-anticipated improvements. You’ll also benefit from modern amenities, including a digital ball machine, replacing the traditional token system.

Course and Facility Enhancements:

Our dedicated maintenance team has been working diligently to revitalize our golf courses and driving range facilities. We’re confident that the improved shape and design will elevate your overall golfing experience.

Upcoming Events:

Par 3 Competition: Join us on April 12th for a fun and competitive Par 3 event. All members are welcome! For more details, please visit our club website or contact Marco at the sports center.

Member Support and Feedback:

Help Desk: We’re here to assist you! Our help desk is available every Wednesday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Please book your appointment at reception, and either myself or Nelson Cavalheiro will be happy to assist you with any club-related inquiries.
Suggestions Welcome: We value your feedback! If you have any suggestions or ideas to enhance our games and courses, please email them to us. We will carefully consider all submissions.

We encourage all members to participate in our six major club competitions. Entry lists are now available on the Amendoeira Clube de Golfe website: www.amendoeiraclubedegolf.com

Amendoeira Cup: June 7th, O’Connor Jnr. Tee times: 7:30 AM – 9:20 AM. Lunch, music, and prize-giving to follow.

Presidents Cup: July 5th, O’Connor Jnr. Tee times: 7:30 AM – 9:20 AM. Lunch, music, and prize-giving to follow.

Silves Council Cup: September 6th, Faldo Course. Tee times: 7:30 AM – 9:20 AM. Lunch, music, and prize-giving to follow.

Amendoeira Pairs: October 25th, Faldo Course. Tee times: 7:30 AM – 9:20 AM. Lunch, music, and prize-giving to follow.

Club Champion (Members Only): November 22nd (Faldo Course) & 23rd (O’Connor Jnr Course). Tee times: 7:30 AM – 9:20 AM. Lunch, music, and prize-giving on the second day.
